About this role

AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time RN for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU), working day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for PCU patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Work a 3×12-hour day shift schedule (7 am–7 pm) with weekend and holiday rotation. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Florida licensure required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required; CCNS certification preferred. - At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - EKG interpretation ability based on unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract clinical reasoning skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME and career development resources. - Mental health support and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with more than 50 hospitals across the United States.
