About this role

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth seeks a part-time Sonographer Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team at AdventHealth Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook, Illinois. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams following provider orders and established departmental protocols. - Verify patient identity and exam appropriateness, then obtain complete clinical history before scanning. - Position patients and adjust transducer placement and technical factors to acquire optimal images, waveforms, and Doppler data. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems. - Explain procedures clearly to patients across all age groups, supporting comfort, cooperation, and privacy throughout each exam. ### What we're looking for - Active ARDMS or ARRT credential in at least one specialty (AB, OB/GYN, PS, RVT, RMSKS, RTBS, VS) or CCI RVS. - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Associate degree or completion of an accredited sonography/vocational program (preferred). - 1+ year of clinical ultrasound experience (preferred). - Solid knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional anatomy, vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques. - Proficiency with EMR and PACS platforms; basic Microsoft Office skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.03–$57.72/hr ($64,542–$120,058 annualized). - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day 1. - Paid time off from Day 1. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health, well-being, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Bolingbrook is part of the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth system, a faith-based health network serving communities across the Chicago metropolitan area.
