AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time RN Clinical Resource for its inpatient facility in Lake Wales, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Lead clinical teams across units during shifts to ensure patient and physician satisfaction and resolve complex care issues
- Coordinate and evaluate services rendered by all departments using critical thinking, and report key trends and recommendations to nursing leadership
- Respond to emergent situations including code blue, trauma, code stroke, STEMI, and maternal or neonatal emergencies
- Visit patient care units to assess patient conditions, evaluate staffing needs, and support bedside caregivers
- Assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques, educating patients and families throughout
- Administer effective distribution and utilization of personnel and carry out hospital nursing policies, procedures, and standards
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Proficiency in peripheral IV access, PICC, and port access
- Strong delegation, preceptor, and critical thinking skills
