About this role

A PRN CT/Radiology Technologist role at AdventHealth Rollins Brook in Lampasas, Texas, performing CT and general radiologic imaging in a community hospital setting. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis. - Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and follow ALARA radiation safety principles. - Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications. - Operate and maintain imaging equipment including CT scanners, injectors, and PACS, adapting protocols across all patient age groups. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems, including patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures. - Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care. ### What we're looking for - Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board (required). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - ARRT-CT certification (preferred). - 1+ years of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program (preferred). - Proficiency in CT scanner operation, cross-sectional anatomy, cardiac and vascular imaging, and 3D workstation skills. - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred). ### What's included - PRN rate of $38.44/hour plus shift differential. - Pay range: $29.60–$55.05/hour depending on experience and shift. - Day shift availability with PRN scheduling flexibility. ### About the practice AdventHealth Rollins Brook is a community hospital located in Lampasas, Texas, operating as part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit health systems in the United States.
