A PRN Respiratory Therapist role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth serving patients across the lifespan at their Hinsdale, Illinois hospital.
### What you'll do
- Deliver respiratory care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations based on hospital need.
- Interpret evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Accurately document and charge for all procedures performed.
- Respond immediately to Code Blue emergencies and administer CPR per American Heart Association protocols.
- Practice standard precautions and enforce safety regulations in accordance with hospital policy.
- Support patient flow through collaboration and teamwork with unit staff.
### What we're looking for
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to care for patients across all age groups, including neonatal and pediatric populations.
### What's included
- Pay range: $25.65–$52.00 per hour (approximately $53,352–$108,160 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN as-needed scheduling with day-shift availability.
