A part-time CVOR Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based health system, located in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular OR patients, including receiving and accompanying patients to the operating suite
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic measures as delegated by the physician
- Maintain thorough perioperative records and handle specimens per hospital and laboratory policy
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities in the absence of the Charge Nurse or Manager/Director
- Precept and train new staff; participate in on-call shifts as assigned to maintain staffing coverage
- Float to other cardiovascular or surgical service units based on patient census needs
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Perioperative nursing experience preferred; 1+ years of OR experience preferred
- Sound clinical judgment with ability to escalate situations appropriately
