About this role
AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist at its outpatient imaging location on Lake Underhill Road in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and selecting technical factors to produce high-quality images that meet department standards.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely, applying ALARA radiation safety principles of time, distance, and shielding.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems with correct patient demographics and examination data.
- Assist patients across all age groups — infant through geriatric — ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment-ready; conduct routine safety checks and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low.
- Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as clinical needs require.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) — required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of post-certification radiologic technology experience, or new graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and radiology software platforms such as Cerner, Radnet, and PACS.
- Demonstrated ability to perform radiographic procedures independently, without constant supervision of technical detail.

- Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized).
