About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Critical Care Paramedic for its transport team based in Fruitland Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Provide primary patient care during approved transports within scope of practice as defined by the EMS Medical Director - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions according to EMS protocols and department policies - Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and treatments throughout transport - Operate emergency vehicles safely across varied weather and emergent conditions in compliance with established safety standards - Maintain the unit in constant readiness, completing medication, supply, and equipment inventories each shift and restocking as needed - Ensure patient and departmental documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant at all times ### What we're looking for - Licensed Paramedic (PARA) — required - Critical Care Paramedic certification: CCEMT-P, CICP, UF CCP, FP-C, or CCP-C — required - 1+ year of advanced life support transport experience — required; 3+ years critical care transport experience preferred - Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications — required - Valid Driver's License or CDL plus CEVO or EVOC certification — required - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field — preferred ### What's included - Compensation: $23.71–$44.09/hr ($49,316–$91,707 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care.
