About this role
AdventHealth Murray seeks a full-time Emergency Department RN for a mid-shift (11am–11pm) position at its Chatsworth, Georgia campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, vital signs, and physical exams to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-based care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications safely via oral, IV, and IM routes; perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
- Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge, including disease process, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Document all assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in real time within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active RN licensure (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Prior hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computerized physician order entry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to recognize and respond to emergency codes, infection control protocols, and age-specific safety concerns.
