A Cath Lab Invasive Technologist at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth supports cardiovascular and interventional procedures at AdventHealth Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
### What you'll do
- Set up, maintain, and operate equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, including sterilization and proper preparation
- Monitor patient blood pressure, ECG, and pulse oximetry using clinical equipment throughout procedures
- Prepare and position patients; select anatomic and technical parameters accurately for each case
- Administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations
- Produce accurate, timely medical records reflecting procedure scope and patient clinical conditions
- Train and orient new personnel while participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives
### What we're looking for
- Associate degree in Science required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- One of the following credentials required: RN, RT(R)(ARRT), RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVIT, Licensed Paramedic, or CST
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and ECG/arrhythmia interpretation
- Ability to perform specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular, nonvascular interventional, and therapeutic procedures
- 1+ year of relevant experience preferred

- Hourly pay range: $31.03–$57.72 (approximately $64,542–$120,058 annually)
