RN Charge Surgery

Texas Health Huguley Hospital is hiring a full-time RN Charge Nurse for the Surgery department in Burleson, Texas. ### What you'll do - Supervise the surgery department in the director's absence, maintaining efficient and safe OR operations - Communicate with all OR team members and hospital personnel to ensure patient safety and workflow efficiency - Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room through continuous assessment and accurate documentation - Schedule surgical cases and personnel to meet patient and surgeon needs cost-effectively - Monitor and evaluate patient care for compliance with hospital policies and procedures - Counsel and mentor staff to facilitate productivity and quality care, and keep the director informed of significant unit developments ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Minimum 1 year of related OR/surgical nursing experience - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification - Proficiency with computer documentation systems and OR tracking tools ### What's included - Compensation range: $35.07–$65.24/hr ($72,946–$135,699 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice Texas Health Huguley Hospital, part of the AdventHealth system, is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Burleson, Texas, serving the greater Fort Worth area.
