About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for its Emergency Department on the day shift (7a–7p, 3×12s, rotating weekends) in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient responses - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and driving strategies that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development - Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety and service standards ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required - BLS/CPR certification — required - Associate's degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree — preferred - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience in an acute care setting — preferred - Strong critical thinking and ability to manage unit operations including financial and productivity oversight - Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems and broad nursing clinical knowledge ### What's included - $10,000 sign-on bonus - Pay range: $32.48–$60.42/hr (~$67,558–$125,674 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute care hospital serving the Rome, Georgia region as part of the AdventHealth system.
