About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Radiologic Technologist for weekend day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, producing high-quality images that meet department standards across general, surgery, and trauma settings
- Position patients and select technical factors to ensure safe, timely image acquisition for all age groups (infant through geriatric)
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment while applying ALARA radiation safety principles for patients and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS systems with correct patient demographic and exam information
- Ensure exam rooms remain clean, stocked, and ready; conduct routine equipment safety checks and notify appropriate personnel of low inventory
- Cross-train into advanced modalities as needed and assist in evaluating or instructing student radiographers
### What we're looking for
- ARRT RT(R) registration required
- Current BLS/CPR certification (adult and pediatric) required
- Minimum 1 year of post-certification radiologic technology experience, or recent graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficiency with radiology software platforms such as Cerner, Radnet, and PACS
- Ability to independently perform radiographic procedures to departmental standards without constant supervision
