About this role

AdventHealth DeLand is hiring a PRN X-Ray Technologist for day shifts at its hospital campus in DeLand, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet departmental standards across general, surgical, and trauma settings. - Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to produce accurate images safely and efficiently. - Monitor patient condition, assist with transport, and maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout all procedures. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems with correct patient demographic and exam information. - Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment passes routine safety checks; notify appropriate personnel of low inventory. - Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as departmental needs require. ### What we're looking for - ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) — required. - BLS/CPR certification (adult and pediatric) required. - Minimum 1 year of radiologic technology experience or graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program. - Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment; familiarity with radiology software such as Cerner, RadNet, and PACS. - Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety principles (ALARA) and patient positioning across all age groups — infant through geriatric. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $21.56–$40.09 (equivalent to approximately $44,845–$83,387 annualized at full-time hours). - PRN schedule with day-shift assignments. ### About the practice AdventHealth DeLand is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving communities across the United States.
