About this role

A PRN CT Technologist position on the day shift is open at AdventHealth DeLand in DeLand, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis. - Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and apply ALARA radiation safety principles. - Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems. - Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support appropriate imaging and continuity of care. - Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain exam rooms in compliance with departmental and regulatory standards. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. - ARRT RT(R) registration required; ARRT-CT certification preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Some relevant CT or radiology experience required. - Competency in patient care across all age groups, from infant through geriatric. - Basic computer proficiency for data entry and retrieval in clinical systems. ### What's included - Pay range: $28.68–$53.35 per hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized equivalent). - PRN day-shift scheduling with flexibility. - Access to AdventHealth's employee support and wellness programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth DeLand is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
