About this role
AdventHealth Carrollwood is hiring a part-time CT Technologist II for its imaging department in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and assess IV placement for contrast studies.
- Position patients accurately across all age groups, applying immobilization devices and maintaining ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
- Follow department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures before each exam.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT R.T.(R) registration (required); ARRT-CT credential preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of related CT or radiologic technology experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with CT scanners, injectors, PACS workstations, and EMR platforms.
- Ability to assess, explain, and perform imaging studies on patients of all ages.

### About the practice
AdventHealth Carrollwood is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care. The Tampa campus at 7171 N. Dale Mabry Hwy serves a diverse patient population with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient imaging services. The schedule is part-time, primarily Monday/Friday day shifts (7a–7p) with call, holiday rotation, and occasional night/weekend coverage.
