About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift in Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based standards. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and following hospital protocols. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication. - Respond to code situations promptly, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) experience required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - EKG interpretation skills required per unit guidelines. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking abilities. ### What's included - Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hour (~$71,261–$123,219 annualized). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires; relocation allowance available for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME/career development resources and mental health support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
