About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time CT Technologist for weekend day shifts (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday, 6:30 AM–7 PM) at its hospital campus in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications before scanning.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and maintain radiation safety using ALARA principles.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems throughout each shift.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
- Operate all imaging equipment — scanners, injectors, monitors — safely and adapt protocols for patients of all ages.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT RT(R) certification required; ARRT-CT preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program preferred.
- Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, cardiac and vascular imaging, and 3D workstation operations.
- Basic IV competency and knowledge of contrast administration safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (approximately $59,654–$110,968 annualized).
