Certified Medical Assistant

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Care Pavilion clinic in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Assist with minor procedures, document results at the time of service, and close care gaps - Administer medications and educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and initiate diagnostic testing - Maintain OSHA compliance, safety processes, and confidentiality of patient and employee information - Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment ### What we're looking for - Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology and chronic disease management concepts - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Care Pavilion Tampa is an outpatient clinic operated by AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system with facilities across multiple states.
