Mammography Technologist

A Mammography Technologist position is open at AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based health system in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform 2D and 3D mammography exams, positioning patients and operating equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images with appropriate compression and technical factors - Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation - Maintain accurate, timely records in the EMR and PACS systems, and perform daily system QC checks per regulatory requirements - Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate results and timely communication of next steps - Participate in patient tracking, recall coordination, additional imaging scheduling, and biopsy scheduling as needed - Support breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities ### What we're looking for - Registered Mammographer RT(M)(ARRT) — required - Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) — required - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required - Minimum 1 year of mammography or diagnostic radiology experience - Working knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, mammography equipment, and PACS systems - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred ### What's included - Compensation range: $26.08–$48.50/hr ($54,246–$100,880 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day 1 - Paid time off from Day 1 - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of the AdventHealth system, a nationally recognized faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving communities across the country. This day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
