About this role
An Ultrasound Technologist is needed for a full-time StaffFlex contract on the day shift at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform routine and complex ultrasound imaging studies, manually maneuvering transducers to complete exams
- Set up, adjust, and operate ultrasound equipment while recognizing significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures, including ICAEL quality assurance requirements
- Collect and maintain patient treatment records and imaging data
- Conduct pre- and post-treatment patient evaluations to ensure adequate preparation
- Maintain supply inventory and restock to sustain proper operating levels
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree or Technical/Vocational School diploma in a related field (required)
- Active BLS/CPR certification (required)
- At least one of the following credentials: RDCS-AE, RCS, RDCS-PE, RCCS, RVT, RVS, or ARDMS registration (required)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification (required)
- 1+ year of ultrasound or sonography technical experience (preferred)
