About this role

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department on a day shift (7a–7p) schedule in Davenport, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and clinical needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, following established safety protocols. - Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care competencies. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - ACLS certification (preferred). - NIHSS certification (preferred). - Prior Emergency Department or critical care experience (preferred). ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hr ($65,582–$104,832 annualized). - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a full-service community hospital located in Davenport, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
