About this role
AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a PRN CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging at its hospital campus in Palm Coast, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT examinations following provider orders and departmental protocols to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material per safety guidelines and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Position patients accurately using immobilization devices while maintaining ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems throughout each exam.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support continuity of patient care.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT Radiography (RT(R)) certification — required.
- BLS/CPR certification — required.
- ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) credential — preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree — preferred.
- 1+ year of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program — preferred.
- Proficiency with PACS, CT scanners, power injectors, and 3D workstations; cardiac and vascular imaging skills a plus.
### What's included
- Pay rate: $28.68–$53.35 per hour (approximately $59,654–$110,968 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN/per-diem schedule with 24-hour shift availability.
