About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a contract Emergency Department RN (Days, 36 hrs/week) at its acute-care hospital in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting all actions in accordance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers per hospital policy to support timely patient placement.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, care plans, and procedures based on assessed learning needs.
- Maintain safe handoff communication and documentation at every transition of care.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, apply appropriate PPE, and enforce infection-control and safety regulations.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required); TNCC preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in abstract clinical reasoning to evaluate interventions and revise plans of care.
- Basic computer skills with ability to navigate Windows-based EMR programs.
