About this role

AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Preop/PACU RN for its surgical unit in Celebration, Florida, working 9am–9:30pm, three days per week with rotating call. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive preoperative and post-anesthesia assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors - Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans aligned with unit standards - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies - Cross-train between preoperative and Phase 2 PACU environments - Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize perioperative care ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred - Ability to work rotating call on nights, weekends, and holidays ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (~$65,582–$108,659 annually) - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates - $1,500 relocation assistance for candidates living 50+ miles from campus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth Celebration is a full-service hospital located in Celebration, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system, one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
