About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist for weekend day shifts at its freestanding Emergency Room opening in St. Augustine, Florida in Summer 2026.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT and radiographic examinations per provider orders, departmental protocols, and ALARA radiation safety principles
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and follow all safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems for every exam
- Position patients accurately across all age groups — infant through geriatric — using immobilization devices as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care
- Conduct daily quality control checks, maintain clean and stocked exam rooms, and perform routine equipment safety inspections
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) (required)
- ARRT Computed Tomography certification ARRT(CT) (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- Some relevant imaging experience (required)
- Proficiency with EMR and PACS computer systems

- Pay range: $28.68 – $53.35/hr ($59,654 – $110,968 annualized)
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
