About this role

A part-time Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist II role at AdventHealth Lake Wales in Lake Wales, Florida, performing a full range of echocardiography procedures within a faith-based regional hospital system. ### What you'll do - Perform adult transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms in accordance with departmental policy - Document, charge, and report all procedures to meet quality standards set by the department and hospital - Communicate abnormal findings promptly to reading physicians and notify them of studies ready for interpretation - Adapt scanning protocols to each patient's clinical situation, obtaining history needed for accurate interpretation - Participate in Performance Improvement projects and contribute process improvement ideas - Develop pediatric echocardiography proficiency within one year of hire ### What we're looking for - 2+ years of adult echocardiography experience, including TEE and stress echo - Active RDCS, RCS, RVT, or RVS credential (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - Associate's degree or graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Ultrasound Program - Pediatric echocardiography experience (strongly preferred) - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians ### What's included - Pay range: $27.67–$51.47/hr ($57,553–$107,057 annualized) - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates - $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Wales is part of AdventHealth, a not-for-profit faith-based health system operating across multiple states.
