Mammography Technologist Practice Based

AdventHealth is hiring a PRN Mammography Technologist for its practice-based imaging site in Davenport, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform mammographic imaging procedures, including X-ray and DEXA, with correct positioning and technical factors per ACR/MQSA standards. - Assist radiologists during stereotactic biopsies using sterile technique. - Conduct routine QA/QC tests per ACR guidelines and maintain required continuing education units. - Review requisitions, prior films, and patient reports before each examination to ensure appropriate protocol selection. - Document all procedures and relevant patient clinical history accurately in the medical record. - Check, stock, and maintain equipment, accessories, and supplies; disinfect equipment after each patient encounter. ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required. - Active ARRT registration in Mammography — RT(M)(ARRT) required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Associate degree from an accredited radiologic technology program required. - Working knowledge of ACR/MQSA positioning and image quality standards. - Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office; ability to communicate fluently in English. ### What's included - Pay range: $25.16–$46.80/hr (approximately $52,333–$97,344 annualized). - PRN day-shift schedule offering flexibility. - AdventHealth team member benefits available per PRN eligibility guidelines. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating more than 50 hospital campuses across the United States.
