About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner – Simulation based primarily at the Altamonte Springs, Florida campus with work at the adjacent Simulation Center.
### What you'll do
- Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, including identifying potential EBP projects and providing subject matter expertise.
- Apply a spirit of inquiry to support nursing research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement using the PDSA framework.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify practice problems, develop solutions, and support implementation of planned changes.
- Disseminate evidence-based practice findings through educational programs, courses, and simulation-based activities.
- Create and sustain a supportive environment for scientific inquiry and quality improvement across nursing units.
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- ANCC Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) and/or CCRN preferred.
- Knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills with proficiency in standard office and presentation software.
