About this role

A Medication History Pharmacy Technician role at AdventHealth North Pinellas, located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, supporting hospital pharmacy operations across inpatient and clinical service areas. ### What you'll do - Obtain and document accurate medication histories, supporting medication reconciliation across the continuum of care - Prepare and dispense patient-specific medication doses, verifying drug, dose, dosage form, expiration, and barcode accuracy - Compound sterile and hazardous preparations in compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards - Manage controlled substance audits, inventory reconciliation, and diversion prevention activities - Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems and automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) - Contribute to compliance audits, quality improvement projects, and regulatory readiness efforts ### What we're looking for - Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) licensure in Florida (required) - Minimum 1 year of hospital, retail, or ambulatory pharmacy experience - High school diploma or equivalent (required); completion of a pharmacy technician training program (preferred) - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office - Familiarity with aseptic technique, hazardous drug compounding, and medication reconciliation processes (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $18.14–$29.02/hour ($37,731–$60,362 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
