About this role
AdventHealth Avista is hiring a PRN night-shift ICU Registered Nurse at its Louisville, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual assessments for ICU patients each shift.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and unit standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring closely for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- EKG interpretation ability per unit requirements.
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and team communication skills.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $34.26–$59.24 (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN scheduling flexibility on night shifts.
