About this role

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for its Cardiology Recovery unit in Tarpon Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for cardiology recovery patients. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring closely for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements. - A minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred). - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with the ability to apply abstract reasoning to evolving patient conditions. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24 per hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized equivalent). - PRN day-shift scheduling offering flexibility. - Access to AdventHealth's broader employee benefits and support programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a faith-based, community-focused hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system serving patients across the southeastern United States.
