About this role
A full-time day-shift Registered Nurse opportunity in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care and patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to revise care plans based on patient outcomes
