About this role

AdventHealth Fish Memorial is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the day shift in Orange City, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development - Resolve staff conflicts using mediation techniques and maintain a cohesive, high-performing team environment ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience (preferred) - PCCN or other relevant specialty certification such as CRNI or VA-BC (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.99–$63.22 (~$70,699–$131,498 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network with a mission centered on whole-person care.
