About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist at its Denver, Colorado hospital to support diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities on day shifts.
### What you'll do
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures including ER, OR, and fluoroscopic studies, producing high-quality images that meet department standards.
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to complete requested procedures safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patient condition, assist with transport, and maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and PACS systems, ensuring correct patient demographics and exam information.
- Apply radiation safety principles (time, distance, shielding) to keep exposure ALARA for patients and staff.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and equipment maintained; cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.
### What we're looking for
- ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) credential (required).
- BLS/CPR certification for adult, child, and infant (required).
- Demonstrated competency in two diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of ER, OR, and fluoroscopic imaging procedures and diagnostic radiological positioning.
- 1+ year of radiology technologist work experience (preferred).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred); high school diploma or equivalent required.
### What's included
- Pay range: $26.89–$50.01/hour ($55,931–$104,021 annualized equivalent).
- PRN schedule with day shifts.
- Continuing education requirements supported; ongoing registry and license maintenance expected.
