About this role
An Intermediate Nursing Informatics Advocate position is open at AdventHealth Sebring in Sebring, Florida, supporting clinical technology workflows and EHR operations across the health system.
### What you'll do
- Assess clinical workflow processes, identify gaps, and develop future-state workflows for new EHR solutions or functionality.
- Deliver training on new applications and functionality, including train-the-trainer sessions, Service Line Expert programs, and upgrade education.
- Collaborate with departments, hospital leadership, end users, and vendors to optimize electronic health record operations.
- Monitor and analyze aggregated clinical data to identify trends related to patient outcomes and information technology tool performance.
- Execute change management strategies — communication, buy-in, training, and technical support — for smooth rollout of application changes.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support during major system installs, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of combined clinical and informatics experience required.
- Demonstrated experience with Epic or a comparable enterprise EHR platform required.
- Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of clinical workflows and practical understanding of multiple training methodologies required.
- Informatics Nursing Certification (ANCC-BC), CPHIMS, or CAHIMS preferred.
