About this role

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time Certified Respiratory Therapist for its clinic in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders - Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems - Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests - Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly - Provide emergency respiratory care, including airway management and resuscitation - Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and proper use of equipment ### What we're looking for - Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Bachelor's degree required) - Active State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license or NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential - Demonstrated ability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments - Strong communication skills and proficiency with clinical documentation and computer systems - Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently within scope of certification - Medical office experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $24.01–$44.65/hour (~$49,941–$92,872 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
