A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is open at AdventHealth Lake Wales in the Sports Medicine and Rehab outpatient clinic in Lake Wales, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards, establishing individualized treatment plans with goal setting and frequency schedules
- Implement and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and payer guidelines, discharging patients when maximum benefit is achieved
- Document patient care accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology
- Oversee care provided by therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards
- Participate in community events, educational lectures, and public awareness initiatives as an extension of clinical expertise
- Serve as a Clinical Instructor and maintain current knowledge through evidence-based practice and professional development
### What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Active Florida SLP license, SLP-Provisional, or SLP-Temporary licensure (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- Ability to work Wednesday and Friday, 8am–5pm
- Willingness to adjust hours and assist at other centers or programs as patient census requires
- New graduates are eligible; no prior work experience required

The Sports Medicine and Rehab outpatient clinic at 410 S 11th Street provides rehabilitation services to the Lake Wales community with a focus on individualized, evidence-based care. The department supports interdisciplinary collaboration and ongoing clinical education.
