Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) at its facility in Riverview, Florida. ### What you'll do - Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications required for each surgical procedure - Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with the circulating nurse before and after each case - Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon throughout procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique - Handle and document surgical specimens with 100% accuracy - Assist with terminal cleaning of the OR and room turnover between cases - Recognize and respond immediately to intraoperative emergency situations ### What we're looking for - Active State of Florida CST certification, NBSTSA CST credential, or NTSC Technician in Surgery – Certified designation - Current BLS/CPR certification - Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (Technical/Vocational School required; Associate degree preferred) - Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and sterile field setup - 2+ years of experience as a certified surgical technologist (preferred) - Proficiency in a minimum of two surgical specialties (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $23.71–$44.09/hour (~$49,317–$91,707 annualized) - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants - Relocation bonus for eligible applicants - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave ### About the practice AdventHealth Riverview is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit network committed to whole-person care.
