AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a PRN Emergency Department RN for night shifts at its hospital in Tavares, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals. - Collect and document patient health data systematically and in a timely manner. - Implement plan-of-care interventions safely and appropriately, documenting all actions taken. - Apply critical thinking skills calibrated to each patient's acuity level in a fast-paced ED environment. - Collaborate with the care team to facilitate timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer per hospital policy. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. - Current BLS/CPR certification. - Proficiency with Windows-based computer programs and electronic documentation. - Strong English communication skills (verbal, written, and reading). ### What's included - Advertised rate of $63/hr for StaffFLEX PRN night shift coverage. - PRN scheduling flexibility with night shift assignments. ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a full-service community hospital located in Tavares, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.
