About this role

AdventHealth for Children is hiring a full-time Pediatric RN Care Manager for day-shift hours (8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday) at its flagship Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Develop and manage individualized care plans across the continuum, incorporating patient and family preferences and values. - Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments, evaluations, and medical record review. - Advocate for patients by identifying and removing barriers to timely, appropriate care. - Maintain active communication with the care team and supervisor to ensure effective implementation of each patient's health plan. - Serve as a resource for accurate medical record documentation and appropriateness of services relative to diagnoses. - Support discharge planning by identifying and coordinating post-discharge treatment options and community resources. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. - Two years of medical/hospital nursing experience preferred. - Prior care management or utilization management experience preferred. - Prior pediatric nursing experience preferred. - BLS/CPR certification preferred; professional certification a plus. ### What's included - Pay range: $32.76–$57.47/hour (~$68,141–$119,538 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off beginning Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Access to whole-person well-being and mental health support resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth for Children is a nationally recognized pediatric health system whose flagship Orlando facility was designed by Walt Disney Imagineers to be child-centered.
