About this role
AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida is hiring a full-time Clinical Pharmacist for inpatient day/evening shifts with every-third-weekend rotation.
### What you'll do
- Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments.
- Provide direct patient care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, supporting transitions of care from admission through discharge.
- Educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents.
- Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors.
- Perform all pharmacist functions — compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation — across central, satellite, and IV areas.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Pharmacist (RPh) license required.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
- 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation.
- Ability to contribute to quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities.
### What's included
- Pay range: $50.49–$93.91/hr (~$104,979–$195,332 annualized).
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 1+ year of applicable experience (not previously employed by AdventHealth within the last 12 months).
