A Nurse Educator – Patient Experience & Clinical Specialist role at AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia, supporting staff education and patient experience initiatives across inpatient care units.
### What you'll do
- Assess educational needs in clinical areas and develop evidence-based educational content aligned with organizational goals
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions and provide just-in-time education on patient care units
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve patient and family experience, preventing events with negative impact on care
- Maintain accurate records of all learning activities and contribute to the organization's overall education plan
- Provide immediate service recovery using the ACT Recovery Model under supervisor guidance
- Report complaints, grievances, and unusual events through the risk events application
### What we're looking for
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- 3+ years of full-time hospital-based nursing with direct patient care experience
- Active RN licensure preferred; BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and experience with adult-learning principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience delivering educational content to adult learners preferred
