About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Pre and Post Recovery (PSR) unit at its Celebration, Florida hospital campus, with day shifts running 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, and sociocultural factors upon admission and throughout the care episode.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and hospital standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care, supervise delegated tasks, and maintain effective team communication.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- One or more years of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to apply abstract reasoning to assess patients and revise care plans.
- Additional preferred certifications include CCNS, TNCC, CCRN-E, ONS, or SCRN depending on unit assignment.
