AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Inpatient Wound Ostomy RN for day-shift clinic care at its Rome, Georgia facility.
### What you'll do
- Perform detailed wound assessments and documentation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with difficult or chronic wounds
- Lead the clinic care team as case manager, delegating tasks and managing staff time to ensure efficient patient flow
- Apply and teach proper technique for specialty dressings, procedures, and sharp debridement
- Plan, implement, and document patient education for chronic wound management using departmental tools
- Coordinate with external partners including home health nurses, insurance case managers, and referring physicians
- Maintain infection control standards and guide non-RN associates in best practices
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Sharp debridement competency required within 3 months of hire
- CWON, CWS, or WCC certification preferred
