About this role

AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time RN Assistant Nurse Manager for its Advanced Cardiovascular ICU (ECMO) unit on the day shift at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses - Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to sustain clinical and professional standards - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training, feedback, and structured professional development - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety standards ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification — required - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant clinical leadership experience — preferred - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience — preferred - Critical care certifications (CCNS, PCCN, VA-BC, or similar) — preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (~$70,699–$131,498 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating one of the largest and most comprehensive hospitals in the Southeast, with specialized programs in cardiovascular care, transplant, and neuroscience.
