About this role

AdventHealth Port Charlotte is hiring a full-time night-shift Emergency Department RN at its 2500 Harbor Blvd campus in Port Charlotte, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care - Perform or interpret EKG monitoring per unit-specific advanced life support requirements ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred) - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills - TNCC, PEARS, or CCNS certification (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off effective Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support ### About the practice AdventHealth Port Charlotte is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
