Basic X-Ray Machine Operator

A Basic X-Ray Machine Operator role at AdventHealth's Centra Care Azalea Park urgent care clinic in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them appropriately for requested imaging - Set up and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting ionizing factors and radiographic controls for each study - Process film and review x-rays for image clarity, retaking images when quality standards are not met - Maintain x-ray film files, patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports - Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure the x-ray unit meets state and company standards - Stock radiology and medical supplies, rotate film stock, and maintain darkroom and x-ray room cleanliness ### What we're looking for - Valid Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification (required) - Current BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program preferred - At least 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience preferred - Ability to float to other FHMG practice locations as patient volume or staffing requires - Strong English communication skills — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension ### What's included - Pay range: $19.23–$40.09/hr (~$39,998–$83,387 annualized) - Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Centra Care is AdventHealth's network of urgent care clinics serving Central Florida, providing accessible outpatient care across multiple community locations.
