About this role

A full-time night-shift Paramedic role at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a faith-based health system serving the Daytona Beach, Florida community. ### What you'll do - Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assess patients, and deliver care within paramedic scope of practice under established medical protocols - Operate the ambulance safely and professionally in compliance with traffic laws and AdventHealth safety standards - Perform patient assessments, identify life-threatening conditions, and apply appropriate treatment and transport decisions - Complete patient care reports, daily checklists, and all required documentation accurately and on time - Maintain the ambulance in a clean, fully stocked, and mission-ready condition at all times - Communicate effectively with hospital staff, physicians, and other emergency responders to ensure continuity of care ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Licensed Paramedic (PARA) certification — required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications — required - Valid driver's license — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate degree preferred - 1+ year of related EMS or clinical work experience — preferred - NIMS/FEMA training and emergency vehicle operations experience — preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $20.38–$32.60/hr ($42,390–$67,808 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a full-service hospital located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL 32117, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based, not-for-profit health systems in the United States.
