About this role

A part-time PCU Registered Nurse (Day shift) role at AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida, caring for progressive care unit patients in an acute inpatient setting. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication across the team. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting. - Associate's degree in Nursing (or higher). - EKG competency per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with ability to function as a team player. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, mission-driven health network committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
